The Grand Final of the Tribes 2 World Championship was played between USA West & Germany.
USA West had to get past an undefeated Finland to make the final, while Germany progressed after USA East were disqualified for banned tactics (I believe this was manually launching missiles from an MPB at the oppositions vehicle pad from across the map) as well as unsportsmanlike behaviour.
Each map was played on both teams servers to attempt to cancel out the ping issues – in this recording the map was played on Germany’s server choice.
The match was shoutcasted in both English and German (although I have no idea if these are available anyway – if you can find them please let me know and I will redo the demo with the shoutcast audio synced).
I’m not sure Minotaur was a great choice for teams of this size.. it really becomes a big cluster… but certainly does provide a lot of action as well.
