darrellw (known in Tribes Vengeance as Midair King) proudly presents his
first Tribes 2 video. After months of requests to do a T2 video, and
short teaser montages, the real thing is here 3 months in the making.
This is “The Zone”- a concept popularized by basketball and the
manga/anime Kuroko’s Basketball (Kuroko no Basuke). You’ll see in the
introduction I pay tribute to the Japanese anime by using its definition
of “The Zone” and a direct audio blurb from the show.
The Zone is a very real phenomenon, when a player is “on fire”, and can
turn a talented player into a “super” player in the span of a single
map. This sudden blossoming of full potential has the tendency to become
the subject of many cheat accusations.
